This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the quality, test method and marking of the water colour paints for general use which are made by mixing and kneading pigment with water soluble vehicles (glycerine, gum arabic, glue, etc.). The colour paints for specialists, colour paints in a solid state or in a powder state and synthetic resin emulsion colour paints are excluded.
