This Standard specifies the significant surface of the hot-dipped zinc coating applied on steel products or fabricated steel products for the purpose of preventing corrosion. It does not, however, apply to continuously hot-dipped zinc-coated steel sheets, zinc-coated iron wires and zinc-coated steel wires.
