This part of IEC 60519 deals with the safety of electroheat installations with electron guns. This standard applies also to the high-voltage sources feeding electron guns. This standard, whilst prepared for electroheat installations with electron guns may, however, also be used for installations employing glow discharge systems, where applicable.
