Clevis straps according to this standard are used preferably for overhead electrical lines and switchgears and controlgears with nominal system voltages exceeding AC 1 kV and DC 1,5 kV. Clevis straps of shape A and B are preferably used for the connecting bolt connection on the clevis straps side and clevis straps of shape C and D are preferably used for the U-bolt connection of the clevis straps side.
