This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies alcohol hydrometers used in transaction or certification in Japan marked with scales indicating the alcohol concentration in mixed solution of alcohol and water at the temperature of 15 degrees Celsius by vol% of a defined concentration range within 0 vol% to 100 vol%, and that of 0.1 vol%, 0.2 vol% and 0.5 vol% in scale interval.
