JIS Z 4342:2013 (R2017)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the scintillation type radiation meters used for measuring the activity concentration of gamma-emitting radionuclides in food/foodstuffs under field conditions where radioactive substances have spread due to the nuclear reactor accident, etc. It does not apply to the low background stationary radioactivity analysis equipment such as a germanium gamma-ray detector used in specialized agencies for analysis.
