This Standard specifies the methods for testing the performance (including cavitation performance, etc.) of pumps served for practical use in their delivery inspection by using a model pump which corresponds to the prototype pumps. This Standard is applicable to large size centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps and axial flow pumps, but not applicable to pump turbines.
