Adopts, with national modifications, IEC60947-3:2015 (ED.3.2) to specify requirements for switches, disconnectors, switch-disconnectors and fuse-combination units to be used in distribution circuits and motor circuits of which the rated voltage does not exceed 1000V a.c. or 1500V d.c. Includes new requirements for photovoltaic (PV) d.c. applications. Reference to Part1 is required for the application of this Standard.
