Full Description

Specifies the requirements for the placement and fixing of concrete and terracotta roof tiles to roofs of buildings which are intended for domestic, commercial or light industrial purposes. It only applies to roofs with a pitch of 15¿¿ or greater. It also includes diagrams showing the mechanical fixing requirements of ridge tiles in different wind zones. Informative appendices give acceptable nail sizes for batten size relative to rafter spacing for gun and hand nailing.
