Applies to dielectric tests with direct, alternating and impulse voltage and test with impulse current on equipment having a rated voltage of not more than 1 kV a.c. or 1.5 kV d.c. Applies mainly to type testing. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 1180-1:1992.
